The line that joins the two opposite vertices of the parallelogram is called as Diagonal. The two diagonals of the parallelogram bisect each other.
A Diagonal line joining any two vertices of a polygon that are not adjacent to each other

The volume is 27 cubic cm, find the diagonal of a cube

Sol: The volume of a cube is given as 27 cubic cm.
Let the side of the cube = a cm.
Then, a3= 27 => a = 3cm.
Thus, side of the given cube is 3cm.
The diagonal of a cube is given by
the formula = a √3 where “a” is the side.
Thus the diagonal of the given cube = 3 √3 cm.
